Morning Tea, with The Social Studio speaking about Aboriginal clothing collaborations

On Thursday, 13 November, MWF members and guests braved the rain to attend our annual Grants Information Evening. Conducted by our dedicated Grants Committee, this event helps our members be as informed as possible about our six finalists and their proposed initiatives when they vote for our Signature and Nurturing Grant recipients at our Annual Grant Awards Celebration.

For the $40,000 Nurturing Grant, Grants Committee Deputy Chair Diane Carey presented on First Step and Grants Committee members Caroline Rhodes and Kate Eddy presented on Norther Community Legal Centreand You Matter

For the $75,000 Signature Grant, Grants Committee Chair Amanda Thornton presented on the Law and Advocacy Centre for Women, Grants Committee member Sarah Davies presented on Tradeswomen Community Foundation and MWF Executive Officer Christine Darcas presented on Wellsprings for Women.

Our sincere thanks to Accenture whose sponsorship made this event possible!
