Event Photography by Fotografa AU

Hi there! My name is Laura Alicia and I’m a deaf photographer originally from Mexico, but now living my best life in the beautiful city of Melbourne. Photography is my absolute passion and greatest joy. I love that through my camera, I freeze-frame all the big and little moments that make life so special.

I’m honoured and delighted to work with Melbourne Women’s Foundation for this event to tell your story, one beautiful frame at a time.

Catering by Free to Feed

We’ll re-connect with our former grantee, Free to Feed, a social enterprise creating empowering employment opportunities for people seeking asylum and refugees.

Free to Feed will serve us a variety of their delicious dishes including their house-made focaccia or a gluten free lavosh which perfectly accompany their dips, labne, olives, falafel, house pickled and seasonal vegetables.

From their more substantial plates, cabbage and walnut rolls and lamb kofte with pomegranate molasses will augment their abundant and beautiful grazing table.

Since 2015, Free to Feed has provided over $1.8 million in wages to people from asylum seeking and refugee backgrounds and 60,000 hours of paid cooking and hospitality training.
